Thanks Abdul! Lovely to meet you and I look forward to learning more about anime from you. :) I haven’t checked yet if you have written about Bleach. I am planning to go through the original series over the winter :)
Thank you so much Margot and it’s lovely to meet you too! I actually have something in the works for bleach so stay tuned! The original series is still an amazing series even with all the fillers and flaws
Hi Robin! I love that you are still gaming too! A few of my friends are in their late 50s and we often go to retro events together. :) Lovely to meet you!
lol yay retro! I love most types of games but my reflexes have slowed a bit so I don’t really do platform games anymore. 😞😞 I’ve been wanting a steam deck forever too! It’s very nice to meet you and looking forward to what you write! 😊
Yeah retro wise we bonded over spectrum and early nintendo games, so it is nice to seek those events out and go to them together :) Oh I understand about the reflexes. I recently played a game and it was impossible, to do the platforming. Luckily it had not only an easy mode, but also accessibility features which I used to actually be able to progress in the game. :D I wish more developers used these features.
hi margot!! fellow gamer. i think as women in the gaming space (even with many years in the hobby) our experience is fundamentally different and i have found myself disappointed with many of the “famous” games - like how you mentioned that it seemed like people were FPS gamers and nothing else. excited to follow your journey! maybe ill post some game content too :)
Lovely to meet you. Yes do post some gaming experiences as well. Would love to hear more about your experience and what your favourite games are and maybe your flops as well. :) your general content sounds really interesting too. 💚
Welcome! If you're trying to find a JRPG that isn't Final Fantasy, I highly suggest Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch (like Studio Ghibli made a video game) or any of the Persona games. I've only played the former but heard many good things about the latter, though I don't like the JRPG genre in general, similar to you!
Welcome to GameStack!! There's lots of us here!
Thank you! I am enjoying finding everyone and seeing the diverse gaming themed content. It has been so refreshing :)
As a fellow gamer of a younger age, I look forward to following and seeing your substack journey!
