As a blogger who has been using WordPress for over 12 years, I could have told you so ;) A personal website sounds great in theory, but it always comes with extra work and hassle. Nothing beats substack when it comes to ease of use for a newsletter project. I’m glad you’re back here!
I think it was more of a challenge of “can I do it”. I used tech that I’ve been working with for the last 8 years but when I changed role I felt suddenly like I would lose what I learned, especially on the infrastructure side, so in a way it was my way of confirming that I knew what I was doing all along. 😂 it then just became too much to maintain or no longer the sort of thing I needed to prove to myself. 😂😅
